Her modelling career is what placed her in the lime light. However, this has not been a smooth sailing path for the former model. Tyra was rejected by a few modelling agencies before her big break. Agencies complained about her forehead being too big and preferred using her eyes and some features over her as an entire package. It took one agency to overlook what had been seen as unacceptable by the media for the entire model industry to appreciate her uniqueness. Tyra being the creator and host of the reality show known as America next top model is giving what is known as ''rough diamonds'' an opportunity to be part of the model industry. She focuses on putting up the most uncommon faces to createthe next hot trend.

P.S! You need not to be from a wealthy background or fit the media stereotype to become whatever you want to be. Find your strength, work on it and be original.
We've all been created uniquely & beautiful in our own different ways. Why not embrace your uniqueness. Tyra Banks is an exceptional to many, young or old. She has made many believe and understand that its okay to be different.
ReplyDeleteThank you Geozann. I agree, we are all created differently. The problem comes in when the meedis decides for us what is acceptable within the society we live in.How can we as women, insure that the media does not get the most of us?
